Batucada NW

Batucada NW is a Bellingham drum group that’s been drumming for 15 years and often seen at the Procession.. They play the rhythms of Brazil in the style heard at carnival in Rio!

Kuungana

Kuungana will provide fun danceable music at Maritime Heritage Park at the end of the parade. They play traditional and contemporary African songs on marimba, mbira, drums and voices.

Olympia's Art Handbook

This manual was produced by Olympia’s Procession Community Art Studio.
It is an excellent source for design and costume possibilities.

There are lots of ideas and how-to’s of all things creative in this 42 page PDF file.
